We’ve just said bye bye to Fergin at his Orient Camping in Konacik (Iskenderun Arsuz) http://www.orientcamping.com/. It’s the only camp site in the area and 40kms south of the shipping port Iskenderen. It’s completely rural, rustic and green with farm animals and brilliant breakfasts consisting with freshly baked bread, chai tea, eggs from the farm, turkish coffee and much much more. There’s a great pool and the sea and great mountains a hike away. Perfect for the overland 4X4 using the shipping gateway to and fro of Africa to Europe via Turkey. It’s 25TL per day and 10TL’s per adult for breakfast, Nice! Lily our toddler enjoyed it as she could roam and enjoy the mud, animals, scooters and the roof tent, which she’s mad about!
