The resort is run by South African, Gary and his wife who acquired the land around 15 years ago. They started out with 6 mud huts, but now have a whole range of chalets with and without on suite facilities and the rest is history.
They support eco technology and offer ash and sawdust toilets.
The bar and restaurant overlooks a spectacular Nkhata bay and offer customers access to amazing snorkeling and scuba services. The resort is near one of the lakes deepest drop offs and makes for great fresh water diving.
It’s a collection of chalets and mud huts at approx. $12/hut/day. The also offer limited tent camping, unfortunately no place for Overlanders roof tents.
