DSC_0127If anybody is interested in these reliable 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers, they are up for SALE for a trip through Africa starting from Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa.

I’ve done numerous trips now around the African continent and have gained significant travelling experience with 4X4 Overlanding and can vouch for both these vehicles.

RE: Land Cruiser Prado 3.0TD For Sale, 1996 model with 155570 kms and the bullet proof KZ engine

South Africa 4×4 accessories are of the best in the world and I’ve spent significant time purchasing this new equipment and adding it to my Land Cruiser e.g. National Lunar Dual Battery System, Front Runner roof rack, attachable spade & axe, table, Roo spot lights, new shocks etc. In short, this vehicle is immaculate and can travel to Europe tomorrow. I can save you all the hassle of car and equipment sourcing, shipping it to Africa to drive northwards and you’ll have a excellent 4X4 after you get to your destination.

This completely kitted out 4X4 is ready for a RSA to Europe trek today and will save you a lot of time and money with regards to equipment procurement. The car has only travelled 155570 kms, so has very low millage and will easily attain 500 000kms in the future.
The Vehicle is in stunning condition and totally reliable as it was prepared for my whole family. We took our little 2 year old so it was imperatively that I had the best vehicle to travel with, esp. when we travelled through the solitary and harsh landscape of lake Turkana. We needed more than a 1000kms of diesel for this stretch, and hence enough Jerry cans to attain this distance. We also have a super Gordigear tent room, which allows you the ability to stand, offers you loads of space and access to the car from inside the tent which is super cool.

I spent lots of time making sure my family would be safe so reliability was paramount and hence you to could capitalize on my meticulous manner. You can literally arrive here in Johannesburg, pick the car up and begin travelling here and northwards!

Here’s ALL of the 4X4 kit included in the sale. As you can see, it has everything you need and may have forgotten to take with you as we know what is important for a transAfrican trek.

High lift jack, bolted to the front bumper
x4 High lift points, welded to the chassis
Lifesaver jerry can water purifier (imperative for travelling in Africa)
Godigear roof awning and large tent room
Rear drawer system
Fridge roller and attachment
Rear locker
Duel Battery Monitor and Control
Intelligent Solenoid
Odyssey Batteries x2, primary for vehicle starts and secondary for electrical equipment
Front Springs
Rear Springs

X3 rear ELEC Din sockets – on aux 12v battery
National Lunar fridge 40l
Jerry can holders x6
Jerry Cans x5

It’s just been serviced by Ballies 4×4 in Midrand, their the best Land Cruiser outfit in Johannesburg in my opinion and regularly prepare vehicles for TransAfrica crossings.
The Short wheel base is also available as per the next blog entry alone or for a convoy!

Drop me a line if you are interested?

    Hello Nic

Nice post. I am an expat, living/working in Uganda. Been saving up for a southern-African-six-month journey. I am interested. Leaning towards the shorty as of now as it is just two of us. Look forward to hearing from you.

    • Hi Dud

There’s no doubt about it, the shorty is my favourite to drive, because it’s so precise when it comes to off road quick turns and getting into small spaces in the bush. As long as you pack light and sensible there will be enough packing capacity for two. But “Junior” the silver shorty is great. thanks Nic
